Well, I totally bombed my first round, did really well in the next two, and nearly tied in my last. Overall, I won 2 and lost 2 rounds and grew as a debater. Tomorrow I'm going to go watch the people that broke with their cases and flow so I can gain even more experience~!
As it turns out, I'll be teaching LD next year along with Shanice, Luke, Matthew and Tori. Since Laurel, Mandy and Emily are graduating, they won't be able to teach new debaters LD anymore, so it's our responsibility to take up where they left off.

Anyway, next tournament is in November! (I actually have 2 tournaments in November) with a completely different topic. I think it goes something like, "In a democratic society, should we allow felons to retain the right to vote?"...or something similar. It's on the NFL site but I'm too lazy to look it up right now. I have to finish all my projects and catch up on homework, haha;;

After the tournament, Laurel drove Matt and I home. It was sooo funny. We drove to Taco Bell for food and Laurel tried ordering in Spanish. It was great; I even got it on video. Wish I could upload it, but it's long and thus, I can't send it to photobucket. Oh well!

Since I last posted here, a month has passed. Man, so much has happened. It's kind of funny to look back on a few weeks ago because it feels like it's been ages! I haven't had time to myself at all for the past month and it's really starting to wear me out, haha;;

It's kind of hard to sort out what's happened, really. Good and bad things have happened, but I've learned to just take it all in stride.

Anyway, my debate tournament is this weekend (Friday and Saturday). Wish me luck! Both days from noon until midnight (I think. At least on the first day). LOL. And Nell, Luke, Jared and Cody all wanted to hang out with me this weekend. I'll have to prioritize, I guess. Jared and Cody wanted to see HSM3!!! I totally want to go, but as a big group because I promised A LOT of people I'd go see it with them. AND!!! Saw 5 is coming out this month too! I can't wait, haha.

REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF List:
- PSAT: National Merit Scholar - (October 15th)

- Confirm Halloween plans (Maybe make calendar so I don't get confused on which days I'm doing what)
- ...Actually get around to catching up with reading/video games/ and movies I got 3 weeks ago. ORZ

God, I'm so sleep-deprived.

I joined 5 clubs this last week, and might be adding another one depending upon my GPA in November. (Need to keep it at 3.5 or higher to become an NHS member again)

Also, I'm trying to become the president of the most work-extensive one, KEY Club. I really, really want to be the president, and I think I have a good chance because Mrs. Miller was asking for officers and I turned in my application first. All I have to do is hope that I get enough votes from the people I recruited, haha. I even have an idea for our first community service work! My mom's workplace needs volunteers to help the residents, and it'd be way cool if I could get involved with that while partying working with my mom!

So yes, here's hoping I get president. Here are all the clubs I joined:

And I might possibly be admitted into NHS as well! Yay!

Haha, school is keeping me so busy this year, but at least I never get bored? I'm actually having fun with it this year despite how much I tend to complain about the workload (WHICH IS A FUCKTON). My teachers are nice too.

As far as non-related school things go, I'd rather spare it for tonight, haha. I'm so freakin' tired and I don't wanna think about it anymore.

However, on another note, I bought House of Leaves and The Encyclopedia of Western Philosophy.
The former merely because I was at the bookstore with Cody and he suggested it while I was looking for philosophy books. The latter because I need to engage myself more with philosophers. I really can't wait to dive into House of Leaves. It sounds creepy and interesting.

So much so, that I bought the first two DVD's today. They come with the picture dramas too! I get to see baby Nunnally <3

My brother was kind of ticked at Sunrise too because he loved his ninja maid waifu. (Yes, he said Sayoko was his waifu. I lol'd)
In other news, Anthony also let me play No More Heroes before I left, which was really fun. I love Shinobu despite how hard she was to beat. (It took me TEN TRIES. WTF.)
I also love her battle theme!
God, I need to find the soundtrack. It's such win.
I actually tried to record the audio with the directions West gave me, but I can't record any music because of my digital microphone. Apparently, there's no possible way to mute it. Laaaammee.

So I'm back home now anyway. I got all my school supplies today and my schedule. Then, I called the counselor and ended up changing my schedule a bit because they screwed it up. So I have to go back in tomorrow to get my improved schedule LOL.
But from what I know, I have 2 classes with Dani, Jackie and Nell. And we all have the same lunch, so I'm happy! Cody and I have different classes though because he doesn't want to take AP courses. Oh, and I also had to change Psychology to Advance Psychology because adding debate screwed up my chances of taking regular psychology. So yeah....I have ANOTHER AP class I have to worry about. Holy crap, just kill me now.

So I'm getting my schedule next Monday seeing as my mom FORGOT.

Weelll I can't blame her. Work has been tough for her lately. Plus, she said if I wanted to add Debate to my schedule, I'd have to go in with her, so yes. Ho hum~
Cody's kinda disappointed though because he was wanting to compare schedules. I am crossing my fingers for Joseph and Cody to be in the same Chemistry class as me or I'll be screwed.

I should be asleep right now, not rambling and watching random videos.

Oh, and before I forget, there's something thats been bothering me a bit ever since I got into that argument with my dad.
...Does anyone else have that problem where people perceive you differently? Like, someone could say you're passive while someone else says you're extremely aggressive? Or is it just me? Sometimes it feels like I'm changing depending on the person I'm with, which makes me feel really fake.

There's a lot of changes happening in my life right now.
Some good, some bad.

It all makes me feel uneasy and rushed sometimes...but, you know, I think I'm going to try to change a little bit too. Since they're leaving very soon, this might be the best time to do that.

I'm really dependent and indecisive and I never know what I want. I realize this, and it won't happen overnight, but I think I'm finally starting to take small steps to change this.

I might stumble, but maybe I can learn how to strive in adversity.
After all, like I've been told, I'm almost an adult.

Lately I've been trying to multi-task (and FAILING MISERABLY) and I've noticed that while doing so, I've been neglecting some friends. I'm sorry guys. D:
I'm trying to get better, promise. Please try to be patient with me because I love you and I'm not trying to ignore you or anything.

It doesn't help that my computer is running /very/ slow, for whatever reason. Maybe I need to update my browser...

Some things I need to do within the next week:
- Call dad about flight plans. I got my ticket information for when I leave Pennsylvania, but not for when I fly out there.
- Talk to Cody about Friday.
- Talk to Jing about Saturday/Sunday plans
- Call Jackie about the 19th
- Call Alexis about her birthday and hanging out (Preferably before I leave for Pennsylvania)
- Finish the video games I've been putting on hold (My priorities are so awesome)
- Finish that drawing I promised West (Yes, West, I haven't forgotten. I just...haven't gotten around to it either xD; It's almost done though!)
- Read the rest of that one book

When I look at the things I need to do like this, it's a lot more manageable~

Man, I'm exhausted.
But then, I feel so anxious. I know this sounds horrible, but I can't wait until I leave. Things will be a lot less hectic.

...I'm kind of nervous about Friday too, but I think I got everything figured out. We'll see what happens.
